Didn’t take long at all to kick an addiction to heroin.
Alone again in that little corner,
A corner of my mind where only i go.
Sitting in darkness like a lonesome mourner,
in desperation to lift me from low.
Choking, Coughing, Spluttering round.
Exhale, Inhale brown lines, powder ground.
My heart starts to race and i begin to feel warm,
i close my eyes and gently sway.
Holding back the twitching til dawn,
When i can again unleash it, and drift away.
Kicking, Twitching, aching head,
Exhale, Inhale return to the bed.
This brief relief from solemn despair
is only a fscade its eating my soul.
Providing a blanket a place to where,
my mind can rest and life can unroll…
