An original poem about how law enforcement can now just grab you from anywhere without any justification.

Snatched up handcuffed

put in the back of a police car,

taken immediately to the station

not letting anyone now where you are.

“Hey Mr. Policeman

when do I get to make my call?”

“After you’re booked in

if you get one at all”.

“That would be kidnapping

I’m willing to bet”,

“You really think we care

or haven’t you realized that yet”.

So understand this

that at the drop of a hat

Mr. Policeman can snatch you from anywhere…

and you’d be legally kidnapped.

We are now living in a police state. The police can do anything they want and get away with it. They have absolute power and they abuse it absolutely. I know what you are saying. It has happened to me too. No reason and no crime. Just an ego that loves to get brownnie points and quotas fulfilled. It is always their word against ours. And they are the ones who are believed.
