Things they say and do.

Have you ever watched your son at play, and wondered what he was thinking, playing with his cars and trucks, are maybe with his slinky? Have you watched your little girl as she rocked her doll . singing to it a lullaby, how it made you smile.

Coloring books, baby dolls, little cars and trains. A world of smiles and wonder, as they  played their childhood games. No troubles no worries, their imaginations took control, off to chase a rain bow, in hopes to find a pot of gold., or riding on a marshmellow cloud high up in the sky, jumping with moms umbrella, to see how high we’d fly. ring around the rose’s was always fun to play, holding hands with our friends in a circle we had made. Making pan cakes out of mud, while in the dirt we played, no reason to go in the house, outside is where we stayed.

Catching butter flies and lightning bugs, put into an old glass jar, taking off in our space ship. to visit  Jupiter and mars.

Every thing has changed now from how they were back then, with all the high tech. toys and games, no room left to pretend. The older ones remember, the young may never know, how it was to be a kid, many years ago.
