overcoming sins on our way to holiness

it’s like a sinful war

trying to enter sinless doors

but as long as I have you

I know it’s true

that no matter what’s behind those doors

I have you as my floor

to keep me grounded

My heart has gone from rigid to rounded

Seems like the world should revolve around you and me

and not untold

we are mere pawns in this game 

though it may sound meek and lame

it is what it is

and we are who we are

but a kiss is still a kiss

and we feel we are different by far

the sound of your laughter

Just like this poem love makes no sense

there is no past future or present tense

There is only you

There is only I

There is only true

There is no lie

We killed loneliness

We reached holiness.
