Like a friend that I’ll never see, I read your words as if my own.

Never to talk , never to hear,
Yet kindred spirits we.
A world away,a world apart,
Like a friend that I’ll never see.
I read your words as if my own.
Though for me you did not write.
A thousand miles between us,
Yet you see just as I might.
I would not know your face ,
Yet your poetry I’d know.
So filled with style and grace.
It set my heart a glow.
So tell the world of love and loss,
For that’s what poets do.
And welcome to the family,
my kindred spirit you.
