I rather be sad and learn

Than happy and stupid.

To grow

Than stay the same.

They say ignorance is bliss

And I think their true.

But I rather be sad and miserable,

Than to judge people for what they always knew.

Sadness is a true mark of greatness

A sign of knowledge and great thinking.

Being sad is not the best life to have

And happiness is ever so tempting.

But my life

I would never change.

Just for the pure reason

Of seeing through this masked parade.
