My youngest dog, about three years, and his little quirks that I love. Fantastic little guy!

KODA
His eyes black as coal at night,
Coat of fur all brown – thickest sight,
Sits on my bed watching me,
Head tilted – looking – pleads!
He jumps down and runs to keep,
Tries to jump, but can’t leap,
He is my slinky dog friend,
He needs to coil up to send,
Compress, release, from a crouch,
To jump up on that big old couch,
Several back ups, starts, then dump,
Before he makes the final jump,
Funny, oh, so funny to watch his yen!
The tries and errors of my friend,
Finally, he sits next to me,
And, he sighs contentedly!
