In a place of renown,
Well- spoken of,
In the sportlight of fame —-

Poem:

In a place of renown,

Well-spoken of,

In the spotlight of fame

Lived a lady of love,

Who freely exuded

A charm that alluded

To starlight directed

From heaven above.

When dark clouds assailed

Her firmament blue,

And the gloom lingered on,

As her bright sun withdrew,

Her good soul cried

To longer abide

In a body once agile,

It lovingly knew.

But her sun faded not,

No matter the gloom,

Her flowers of memory

Continually bloom,

In spaces sublime,

Beyond earthly time,

When dazzles of love

Eternally loom.
