The poem is about a woman who isn’t too pretty and falls in love with a handsome prince. She in her mind, begs the prince to dance with her for the last .knowing it could be the only chance. She dreams he is dancing with her.
We always dream and hope!

My chevalier, oh! My prince,
Of all the ladies in the ball
may you come to me, on your knees.
Please romantically, I beg you to
dance the last dance with me.

I’m not the most beautiful, nor the tallest
but please see my anguished eyes waiting for thee.

This night, my darling, dearest love,
my heart bleeds for thee.

I imagine you in my dreams, me in my beautiful
pink ,silk, long ,petal, dress.
I see us ,soul mates,
dancing floating on pillows high
on the dance floor.
Oh my chevalier, I see your pink face shinning,
your eyes in mine,
oh! Me in your arms ,
while the beautiful instrumental music plays
a melody of love never heard ,und undisturbed

only

You and I were there .
My chevalier, my love,
please dance the last dance with me.

The last song is my hope ,
Please discover my love for thee, don’t let it rot inside of me
For you’re my love, my world, my soul mate, my eternity.

A powerful choice of words in the poem!I can relate of that wonderful poem that is why I like it. Through using of art you are able to express your emotions most especially when it comes to love. Most important in life is you can say whatever you want to say to feel better.By showing your feelings, you are able to create a piece of art. good job!
