A simply yet comedic poem about the last few days of highschool and how it was really just like stareing at a wall for twenty or so days.
I come into class
And sit in my chair
Waiting for all the minutes to pass
And I can’t help but to stare
In front of me
So lifeless and cold
One would also agree
It’s a dinghy shade of gold
Though its trippy posters are scary
And it has ugly brown molding
I know it’s necessary
For it’s the roof that it’s holding
Though it’s a necessity
I still believe it to be
A monstrosity
Why can’t anyone else see
A hundred some days
It’s looked me in the face
Only twenty some left
Till I get out of this place
