By Bryan Wegman.

Is it a mistake
Or destiny?
For if this moment had not occurred
Would we ever have been together?
Should I weep in sorrow at my misfortune
And wish I had walked a different path?
Or should I smile with joy that I got to meet you?
The compatibility is not there, I will not force it
I smile for some reason at my misfortune
I enjoy misery
I enjoy bad luck
Where’s the mystery in a perfect world?
Can I fail?
Every time I fail I’m told I’m closer to my success
One failure closer to my goal
I will miss you
I will be upset
But secretly I smile that you gave me a chance
You were perfect, how could I be so lucky
You create your destiny,
But unfortunately the rest of the world can make corrections
Time will heal these wounds
I just wish I had something to hide my bleeding
