Skyscrapers paint
The evening sky
Fushia reflections
Brush lightly
Against dusk’s
Impending night

Lavendar blues
And, everchanging hues
Change in the natural
Motion of midnight’s
Majestic moods

Lustre glides along
Diamond facets
Lining sidewalks
And window blinds

While the gentle glow
Of innocence
Forever shines
Through joyous
Wonder-filled eyes
