Lavender is the second poem in my book.
This city never sleeps and
niether do I you see?
to get closer to the stars
a garden on top of a skyscraper
a lovley view
the only thing missing is you
you wore the lavender
no more love left to be made
now I know what I had now that
its gone
Another night that I lack sleep
and so I fled shake the scene
fly through the city
with an empty hole where a heart should be
do you know what its like to lose the only thing
for witch you cared
I want what was stolen given back to me
Do you remember our secret place
the light pollution guides our way
I remember when all we did was play
youth fades into empty boring days
and one by one I drove you away
leaving you no reason to stay
until I see you agin in the haze
im going to drink my life away
