Lay Awake Again

Giving off signs, of a crash falling off of a map
Read through the lines, of the fall that just faltered and that,
Will leave you blinded
Give them a reason, some light in the darkness
Sanctity tells me, the fight is upon us

We all close our eyes, when we fall from the terrors
Leaving us nothing, and making us scared there
Are armies they’re coming to take you away
Fleeing what’s nothing, I can’t make the same mistake
Again
Lay awake again

Running in circles, the candle is flickering now
Race through the hurdles, I’m giving you one last chance and somehow
I’ll make it
Show them a liar, false truths with the facts
Is emptiness nothing, or just what I can’t get back
