I saw too many faces,
Like a sea of glass with many heads -
All talking together with the sound
Of rushing waters poured like rain,
Touching the earth as it brought and made,
Fertile soil in all lands and valleys,
And gave life to all organisms in this planet.

These faces and heads I’ve seen
Were men and women of the world’s word,
Touching lives of every tribe and nation,
In every land, and sea, and kingdoms,
I can feel the power of their voices,
And the persuasion of their letters,
Even enemies of every kind can be made as best of friends.

I call them the Legendary League of Poets,
Who can make everyone wise to wiser,
Liberate enough to know the art
Of communicating the challenges,
And views, to improve the approach
To life, educate the mind, comforter to the hurting,
These are what they’re doing in the World’s League of Poets.
