A poem of a broken heart, its pieces forgotten by the world.
Her heart had been broken
A state not able to be mended
Her figure like a still doll,
Sitting on a bench,
Waiting to be repaired.
Remote eyes wander elsewhere
Its soul drowning in the sea of emptiness
Her life, her broken heart
The girl who was forgotten by the world
Wished for better days
Rather than slumped in a rejected pile
Collecting dust on the storage shelf.
May that one day come
Will her patience and endurance end
Scrap after scrap dissolving,
Blown away into the mist
Like leaves in the wind…
