A fictional poem I jotted down just off of a thought I had.
He lies there dying
His peers all crying
He lets out a sigh as he grows nigh to death
But even as his health leaves him
He lets out a few final words of his personal wisdom
You cant go through life wishing it was better
You’re the only one who can make it what you want
Whether you want to wallow in self pity
Or whether you want to leave sorrow; leave shitty behind
It’s all in your hands
No can tell you what to do unless you let them
So believe in what you do and do what you want
His eyes glaze over with the presence of tears
His peers all praise him for the bravery he had
Slower and slower his breaths came to him
Until the lights dimmed for him
And emptiness consumed his once brillinat blue eyes
His once wiry frame relaxed into submission to death
