I left you in only a physical sense

But in reality I am with you in spirit

My life force is still around you

From the first light in the morning

Till the sunset in late May

You feel me when the wind blows

On those hot summer days

You feel my embrace as I cover you

During the worst winters snows

I left but wait to be with you soon

You smell me in the spring leaves

Among the roses and daisies

I am one with the life around you

I will never go as I am within you

The loving feeling experienced as you view that old picture

While I stand among you with a smile on my face

I brush your soul with a gentle touch

Only this you and I will know

Time will pass but not our love

As the world will grow old and gray

Just count the minutes that will turn into days

I left but I will never go away
