If you left then it be left
don’t try and go back and correct your past mistakes
no point of regrettin it no point of letting it break you down
no point of looking down when that person comes around
if it leaves you then let it leave
yes it might come back but there’s no guarantee
that things will ever be the same
no point of tryin to fix things that was long ago broken
no point of being sad because your heart was and still is open
if you left then leave, if it leaves you then let be
don’t chase after something that’s running away from you
because while you’re running you pass someone that’s willing to be true
and if you running because you’re the one being chased
take it as a sign that it was not and never will be you place
