Many years ago I wrote random poetry of all kinds. Recently I have been finding some of these poems and whether or not I think they are good, I wanted to share them with my readers. "Legendary" was inspired by two people of history that influenced me in my early 20’s. Jesus Christ and Bruce Lee. Nice combination right!
A lone man stands in the winds proudly.
Below are many degrading him loudly.
They throw many objects striking his fragile body.
The man looks at the crowd and silences them suddenly.
The crowd is awed! What was this man going to do?
He neels in meditation as heis struck by a shoe.
He looks at the crowdslowly raising his head.
And as he stands to his feet he said,
“One who helps others understand without force,
Will be a true master of his own life’s course.”
When the man finished, the people were ashamed and wary.
For the man had died with words that made him legendary.
