My sister threw a shoe at me & injured my inner character for life.

Leona

A long time ago a little girl was born, 1960.

To a happy home with siblings: Jimmy, Betty, Carol, Marie & Danielle with Mario,

She had resided in a little home like a dog without her bone.

Soon a slight glisten came on her precious eyes,

Cause deep inside she had every reason to run away & hide.

Her grandma said she was very naughty so couldn’t go out to play.

With little precious lips she used her hulla hoop to move her hips,

Leona a beautiful lady we should all get to know.

She would very often kiss her dates underneath the mistletoe,

Yet I still believe there is something further you ought to know

A falling star brought her to us in the form of an angel.

With green eyes gentlemen would swoon so amazing.

Through pain and suffering this little girl would one day learn…

The story unfold’s when the latest page has been turned,

Leona is on a mission from God.

Just from time to time she enjoys visiting Cape Cod.

Just some simple thoughts with loving words,

As if you haven’t already heard.

Leona is my sister and I write this out of my heart,

Sent in a form of a flower out heaven above,

“You & me against the world” is one of her favorite songs.

Yet she longs to embrace her future husband Dave.

Although she used to beat me senseless with her shoe?

I will always love & honor her spaghetti with Ragu!
