Inspired by the remembrance day service at the Royal Albert Hall.

Scarlet poppies fall like snow,
on proud young soldiers stood below
on airmen, seamen, nurses, wrens
for whom remembrance never ends
Those youngsters who have not seen war
remember those who’ve gone before
who gave their lives to give us peace
who fought and died so wars would cease
and so that future children know…
the scarlet poppies fall … like snow
