A lovers wish.

Let me be your evening star,
Your darkest hour; your midnight
The air you breathe,
The view you behold;
Let me be your life.

Let me be your talisman,
Your fondest wish; your dream come true.

A gold-encrusted miniature frame;
Antique beauty; lovingly cherished
Let me be your love.

Let me be your hidden thoughts,
Your hopes; your aspirations;
Morning’s first dew, orchids first bloom,
Let me be your heart.

    Hi Tarin Glenn-Brown or Jamaica Spice. Either way I love the names. This is a beautifully written and obviously heartfelt poem. To feel that way about someone, and be equally well thought of in return, is the most special of experiences in life. I read the others you wrote and was equally impressed. You have real talent. Thanks.
