Bomato and square eggs were speculations once, I read somewhere.

Hello and how do you do?

Said the tigress to the lion

Then they ambled into the woods

The result was a hybrid; tigon.

Sauntering by the shady woods

The zebra winked at the donkey

They went together behind a bush

The result was a hybrid; zonkey.

The brinjal drooled lovelorn

At the ripe red tomato

In a wedlock united they

The result was a hybrid; bomato.

Round they spin and crack and spill

As if they have legs

Spare us the trouble my dear friends

Invent soon square eggs.

Mr. X smiled yesterday

His grapes weren’t gritty

And aloud he proclaimed with his booming voice

‘I vouch for the seedless variety.’

The frog said to the princess

Come let’s go for a walk

There we’ll splice together dear

Being of the same protoplasmic stock.

With the Hee Haw in our hearts

Let’s bray in melody

Let our notes hybridize

In Triond’s custody.
