Life is precious and the earth blissfully benign and magnanimous. There is so much that we can do when we are alive and well, so much for which we should be grateful!
What we’d do without rain?
We’d starve to death, insane.
What we’d do without sun?
We’d shiver and die, undone.
What we’d do without God?
Evil that we can’t afford.
What we’d do without religion?
Lose our bearing and vision.
What we’d do without food?
Cannibalize, as we would.
What we’d do without science?
Crazy without reliance.
How would we feel when we know
The exact day we’re no more.
So let’s feel blessed and glad
Life’s good; not at all bad.
