Let’s rock, this poem is about childhood. The poem is my entry to Writing Challenge Round 25 organized by Duff D Moss. Challenged words are spasmodic delirium & plastic. Hope you enjoy it.
Let’s rock
The gift box was in my hand.
My heart beat loud without end.
Tore open fast without aid.
Oh! That’s it. Hurray! Hurray!
Held it tight, I was ready.
Woody, Buzz and Teddy,
all gathered in a circle,
waiting for my miracle.
One, two and three, sang no fool,
spasmodic delirium full.
Up and down, we all rocked
till bed stage being blocked.
Plastic microphone lay still.
Always standby for fun will.
