There comes a time when we all have to say good-bye, no matter how hard it may be to do.
I’ll be letting you go
And getting on with my life,
Stop putting myself through
The pain and the strife.
I’ll let you go
Though I want to hold on,
But I put myself through
Too much for too long.
Just know when you see me
The pain that I feel,
But now is the time
That I need to heal.
