How would you feel on D-Day if you were Jewish?

All around me I see tears,
But in my heart I know these are tears of joy.
I even hear some distant laughs.
But I cannot rejoice.

My dad.
My mom.
My sister.
My younger brother.
All gone.
Victims of this war.
Victims of the crematory.
Victims of sickness.

Simply a memory,
Not to be forgotten.

Almost all rejoice,
But I have nothing to celebrate for.
No one to celebrate with.
My creator has failed me.
