Living each day in a world without choices,
pretending to cope with everyone’s voices
Lending a hand for an unjust cause
regretting each moment that we were born

Becoming educated by a dictated system,
enjoying the benefits with a repentance
Allowing our minds to be divided,
choosing only as we are guided

Never knowing the truth of what’s within,
believing that religion is our friend
Compelling others to demonstrate good
most of us wouldn’t if we could

Who can say whether God exist,
many implore that it’s just a myth
Gaining insight that only few can see,
pausing while others refuse to be

Having a joy that little can share,
despising the moments that most of us bare,
Knowing each day is surely destined,
watching the Sun’s beauty slowly lessen

Hoping for a dream of reality,
truth in this world means futility
Solely focusing on a new world order,
accepting defeat on a death line border

Repeating each day our life’s cycle,
generating a breed that refuses to be stifle
Creating a world of uncertainty,
reminiscing of a future that isn’t to be

Relentlessly taking each moment for granted,
at death realizing our future was haunted
Mankind possessing the slyness of a fox,
is liberty without freedom – The Paradox?
