Destruction by fire.

The heat is burning at my temples
There is a flame behind each ear
Point me to the water fountain
Direct me to the rainbow
The house is falling down
I can smell the smoke
The walls are turning black
I have become a peice of burning meat, out
On the grill
I stay still.
I relax my body
There is not much else I can do
I hear the sirens
Too far still, to drown out the lick
Of the flames.
