What’s it matter to you? It never changes …

Used to be I would believe
just about everything.
When you would look at me,
hold my hand, tell me everything was fine,
talk to me, love me a while.
The lies tear up much more.
I pick them up, place it back,
you shatter them once again.
I try to hate you and fail
I hold you close just one last time
try to feel just like you’re mine.
Open your mouth
and say that you care
but its just another lie.
