Thank You Lord that I love my life so
Thank You for all the things that bring joy to me
Thank you for my seven wonderful cats
And for the family we’ve grown to be.

What a beautiful feeling day
At least that’s how my heart feels
We’ve had a heat wave these last few days
So the coolness of this day, really appeals.

One thing though on those very hot days
My sister and I went driving in each one
In her Sweet Convertible Spider car
Staying cooler plus getting some sun.

Today tree buds are more apparent
Branches are getting thicker with greens
It’s harder now to see through the woods
As Spring moves in to change the scenes.

The sound of the wind
Is almost eerie in the trees
And as the treetops sway
It’s hard to believe we feel just a breeze.

Many flowers are and have been in bloom
Though dandelions now spoil the view
I never liked those yellow tops
If only other things would grow as plentiful as they do.

I’ve noticed lots of bees lately too
Some bumblebees are really large this year
For a while though there were just hoards of wasps
That’s when I truly knew Spring was near.

The temps about 40 degrees lower today than it’s been
The sky is overcast, all white
And it’s probably good we have the wind in the trees
As through the clouds peeks hot sunlight.

I’ve been outside which was wonderful
Now I’m in for awhile
I have a lot of work to do
As I sit here with a smile.

My kids are crashed across our room
The air conditioner is still on low
With all this wonderful peace around
I really hope this day goes slow.

In a bit my sister and I will go outside again
When we’re both ready for another break
As much of the glory of my days
Are in those little breaks we take.

As when God gives us beautiful days
He gives them exploding with joys to spread
For then no matter what happens in a day
Much of it will hold good memories instead.
