I still have many goals for this year
Though feel confident they will be done
As every day I’m closer to God
And He is definitely The Most Marvelous One.

I faithfully pray and read His Book
His Wisdom brings Knowledge to live His Ways
To speak the words and hear them too
Is the quickest way to all good days.

Every day is wonderful
I still have times when things go wrong
But with my faith and trust in The LORD
I always pull through still standing strong.

I’m excited for each new day to come
Yet don’t want them to go too fast
For I have learned to live for today
As there’s nothing I can do about what’s past.

And each night as I kneel to pray
I do it with a smile
As no matter what happened throughout my day
I Know God was with me all the while.
