Through the years.

Life in a nutshell

When I did not know that I did not know

I did the things that I did just because

I was doing the things that at that age

That the youngster that I was

Just does

Now I wonder why I did the things that I did

When at the confused age that I was

Then I did things that were trendy

And frowned at by the fuzz

Walking around with a bloated head

And calling everything a buzz

Now that I know that I know what I know

I do the things that as an old person

One just naturally does.

A very good poem, but you shouldn’t regret that moment in time, it surprises all of us to learn how much we have changed.

I regret tonnes of things I did as a teenager but I’m afraid its the only way to learn right from wrong and what we want from life. Very good work. LB
