The Dying Atheist

I used to be an atheist.God was not on my mind.
But in my very dying hour, his evidence I find.
I’ve taken stock of all I have, and seen what I have not.
An atheist life is what I chose and that is what I got!

The Dying Infidel

I used to be an infidel- no faith in any right,
But in my very dying hour, I finally have the Light!
The darkness where I used to be cannot now penetrate,
Because I finally found the Light before it was too late!

The Dying Skeptic

I used to be a skeptic- “Could they possibly be true?
They make it sound so easy! Must be something I must do!”
But I found twas done, the work involved, And I must just believe!
The Word I heard. My heart was broken, Gladly I received!
I trusted Christ when I was young. My whole life I have lived
For Him Who went to Calvary, Eternal Life to give,
Could I do any less for Him Who gave His Life for me,
But serve Him till He takes me Home, without apology!
