People need to learn lessons themselves, it is nobodys rightful place to try and teach them.
The distance in your eyes drifts us both apart
the coldness in your words split my heart apart
You are trying to make this my lifetime lesson
never hold on to secrets or confessions
It is a hard lesson even by your standards
to speak and open up or be abandoned
My love alone is not enough to glue us together
