A piece I wrote when I was feeling held down and struggling to find a way to overcome the trials life throws at you.
Living life to its fullest,
Yet taking it day by day.
Doing what they tell you to.
There must be an easier way.
Being polite and subservient,
Running when they beckon and call,
Groveling down on hands and knees,
Rapidly integrity will fall.
Don’t compromise true morals.
Stand fast and don’t loose face.
Reputations will magically rebuild,
And soon they’ll be put in their place.
