We all live through life with a rhythmic timekeeper, the Metronome of life…
I have modified the rhythm to give it more of a time effect…

In a time ship to my world of fantasy,

I’m travelling to my past, my world of ecstasy.

To look with happy thoughts and sit with a smile,

To dream with closed eyes with memories for a while.

Relentless metronome, music to my ears,

Giving me happiness that dispels all fears.

Eloquent keeper of life’s time, my heart beat,

You give the rhythm on this Uneven Street.

You are my keeper, my memorable tune,

You give me a mission as I walk that dune.

You are my metronome as you keep my time,

The Creator’s timekeeper a priceless dime.

My endless heartbeat pulsating in pure love,

The gift of reality sent from above.

My feelings are limitless and filled with bliss,

May I be life’s truth as time’s passion I kiss.

In my unique spaceship I’m so far away,

Living in happiness with brightness of day.

Memories of my good times keep flooding back,

Bringing pure laughter to keep me on the track.

Time and eternity will unite as one,

The Creator’s tribute when my life’s day is done.

My actions their judgement shall receive,

My unfinished tasks gather needed reprieve.

For we are mortals walking through life each day,

Making memories as we walk time away.

Each action we create is a great dance sublime,

With life’s metronome keeping rhythm and time.

For when you enter this world with the anthem of love,

You shall leave this abode feeling the same as above.

Then everything that happens from birth of life till wreath,

Can be looked at, coped with and accordingly dealt with.

For we are all part of life’s great metronome,

We are but inmates of the Creator’s home.

We are natural dancers dancing life’s dance,

Dancing to scripts that’s memorised at a glance.

We will one day be that infinite time beat,

Leaving behind memories on Uneven Street.

Each memory’s an experienced gateway,

To remind our future heirs lives of today.

May my fantasies my cherished respite be,

As I walk through future’s untold mystery.

May I be a blessing to everyone I love,

I’m an instrument chiselled by the one up above.

I keep my beat with my metronome of life,

My greatest of companion through pain and strife.

May I do justice to my rhythmic time,

To create memories infinitely sublime.

Those of you reading this poem for the second time ( the previous release from yesterday), you would find that the words are more or less the same.
I have only modified the rhythm (and a few words/lines to get it) to get the same beat on all the lines with an exception to six lines as per my counting.
I have used a rhythm count of 11 in almost the lines, 13 for 4 of them and 12 for two of them.
I could be wrong when compared to the trained eye but this is my first attempt in getting the rhythm even for the whole poem…
Please feel free in giving me an honest opinion on this as it would help me for my future works apart from editing my past releases on similar grounds….

Hey AA…I think you made quite a bit of improvement it seems to read with a bit more lilt and less choppiness. I’m amazed that you were able to make the slight changes to make the difference. It is always difficult to re-write one’s own work out of fear of making wholesale changes. You done did good girl!!!

That is exactly what I meant- you did a great revision. See how they notice the more free flowing rhythm?

I’m glad I was able to help you- keep up the good work!

I am no analyst of poems. Thus I shalll not analyze this one. I only know what I like and this was a beautiful read. With poetry, the reader often needs to create his own flow.

Much better in my mind, it reads much more smoothly, flows better.
