Life is not a trail running wildly unabated, its pace untempered speedbreakers and traffic signals of emotions and incidents act as punctuations in life to make it more meaningful and interesting…
Life is riddled with puctuations fom the fate’s pen
Poised over the canvas of life
Life is not a frenzied race of insanity
Uncontrolled, indisciplined, unabated
The speed breakers and traffic signals
On the serpentine trail of life’s odyssey
Serve as punctuation marks on this sojourn
Souls on the quest for bliss, fame, wealth and success
Racing like sheep towards an unknown destiny that calls
Would turn life’s saga into a mindless rhapsody
Flowing like gibberish unleashed without any restraint
And unintelligible without the marks of punctuation
The voyage of life, the journey on earth
On unseen paths guided by milestones of fate
And written on the palms as maps
Unread and indecipherable in the intricate lines of fate
The moments written in tears,
Within inverted commas or brackets of sighs of despair
Slow the pace of life like the commas and semi colons
The mysteries iof life baffling as riddles
Yet to be unravelled by feats of intellect
Are the questionmarks that confuse and confound
The exclamation marks on life’s papyrus are surprises
Pleasant interludes of unexpected waves of delight
And the shocks of tragedies that astound the mind
The shackles of silken chords of love
Wound on the heart strings by intense emotions
Are the gaps among stanzas, pauses of nothingness
-Clandestine rendezvous of stolen moments
Friendship holds one by the hand to
Slow the paceof life from a race to a stroll
Walking slowly at leisure on tha sands of time
And then the final fullstop is dotted
Ending the story of life , abating the earthly sojourn
And unfullfilled desires, unrealised dreames
Are condensed in the three dots trailing off
To signify the havebeens in the oyster of tomorrow
Lost forever and ever
Punctuations of life add more meaning
Adding spice to an insipid trail of moments…
