God became the man Jesus to come to earth and bring all of us to Him. Does he have you?
Lifting a Fallen World
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.” John 3:14
“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” 2 Corinthians 5: 18, 19
“There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.” Hebrews 4:9
It’s impossible to move our times
As long as we live beneath our spell!
But rise to stand and shine above,
Of God’s great love and grace to tell!
A man vowed he could lift the world,
If only a place to rest it he found!
Oh, we should not then be surprised,
Of a call to rise above our “ground,”
So, go at the call of God and act
Upon the promise of His power.
To lift a fallen world to God,
As we live before Him every hour!
For He may bid you go or stay,
To cross the sea, or home remain.
To lift a fallen world to Him,
If only it’s rest could be obtained!
So God, He gave His only Son,
Upon a cross He bled and died.
Lifted before a fallen world.
In this was the Father glorified!
Born in a lowly stable here,
To Calvary would go, from Bethlehem.
To be lifted to a fallen world,
And lift a fallen world to Him!
Acts 17:28
