I was thinking about a light curve and its graphical plot,

I found that with the light curve I knew not a lot,

Its obtained from measuring and observing change,

of brightness from a distant stars and their range.

The light curve also introduces time,

Into the equation and with me thats fine,

So all this to measure the brightness of a star,

Varaible changes with time from afar.
