Isn’t it funny how the littlest of things can inspire you?
This poem was inspired by a daily triond phrase…’Emptiness Lyrics’

On a dusk summer evening;

Sat a vase on the window ledge;

Flawless glass the sunset shined through;

It was perfection that sat proud in an desolate room;

No markings, no cracks, nothing at all wrong;

The sky drew to a close and still the glass vase was glowing;

This was a sign of perfected beauty that no one thought to look at;

Except the rain clouds, the snow and the sun;

Why did you put me here to be torn and alone;

I am empty but I will continue to shine on through life;
