tangled like ropeslying together through the night,the quilt like a layer,but only just that,we lie there sharing heat,moving to that beat,the beat of the excited heart you’re twistingand I’m turning,together we move making shapes,shapes unnaturally alive,and as you breath,I stop to listen,for the beat of your excited heart the night is long,the air is thickwith the smell of us,and as we stop to sleep,with your head on my chest,listening for,the beat of my excited heart
