This is a poem about a girl liking this lad but he likes someone else, but the girl wishes that he would like her

I like a boy in my class,

But he likes a different lass.

Tell me what I should do,

I wish he would like me too.

For he’s so cute I like his smile,

I would like to marry him and walk down the aisle.

A dinner for two,

A candle for you.

If we got together we would never fall apart,

And do you know how I knew that? It’s because you’re so close to my heart.
