They are common but do we notice them.

One day while I was walking

I looked upward and notice many limbs on a tree

They spread out in all directions

A beautiful sight to behold

It blocked the bright sunlight

And provides home for woodland creatures

I’ve never seen a tree without limbs

I could not image a tree without limbs

This would be an alien sight to a tree I suspect

It is nature by design

I seem so small next to the many limbs

I could not see the top

We must seem like ants to trees

Underneath the many limbs.

interesting subject, I can remember climbing many tree limbs and watching the world pass underneath. Now sometimes I watch the eerrie shadows limbs create along walls.
    fun reading
