This Song / Poem is part of an unpublished novel I wrote. I was so inspired by the novel that this composition came into my head and was leaving so I wrote it. It’s about wanting to live in another world and being apart of something bigger and larger than life. I believe everyone can relate to that. Your stuck in a rut and want to be a king or a hero of another world. Yes!
Line Warrior
I want to live in the creation of a story
forever there in a story
a place, I feel as strong
as I believe in a story
where I know I belong beside my
characters of a story
forever in the fantasy of a story
I suffered so much loss
I’ve gone through so much pain
it makes me angry, it leaves me starving
I want to live in a place
where there is no war for oil
I want to belong to a group
that binds the world
like the plants and the soil
a kind of inner space
giving meaning
to those who are loyal
a place that has no night or day
to be given or spoil
draw your strength son
show forth the light
may the sun lift your soul
bring forth, your heart
rage your power
gather all, which you’ve done
let out your cry, reveal all that is you,
and finish what you start
I want to live in a world
that doesn’t exist
I want a power that I can’t resist
In a world that holds its own energy
where people live equally with love
to be what ever they want to be
I want to be there
