Our mind is a mysterious thing, sometimes when you want to express sadness, you suddenly realize you are basking with ecstasy,it is then you forget the pain and end up writing something entirely different.

Deep inside my mental space
A plethora of thoughts gathered
To form unclear patterns of
Myriad designs, slowly it grows
Into hazy visions of an unknown land
Where like an uncanny mirage
A green sea co-exists with a white
Desert, both glistening with brilliance,
and the waves, from their
Bosom emerged an endless herd of
wild Pegasus soaring high above the violet
Cloud and then falling back on the
Earth as raindrops, where each raindrop
Were the tears of my eyes falling on a blank
White page overflowing with green ink
That created a distorted figure of  a horse,
The last remnant of its shape giving birth
To an imagination, whose power directed
The pen to flow and erase the pain of a
defeated love, causing to ignore reality
and express the ecstasy and splendor
of the world that resides within.

This poem reflects the writers gift of going places very few are able to reach. The imagery is magnificient and it describes a great spiritual journey of great depth that few can appreciate..

Your mind works in such a mysterious and beautiful fashion. Isn’t it wonderful to have a friend in the pen, where you are able to work through your feelings. Another beautiful piece.

I like the use of viusulization and imagery. You did a nice job

All our world does reside within. But sometimes we have to learn to look for it. Wonderfully expressed.
