I listen to you but cannot hear your words

I reach for your hand but cannot feel your touch

I desire your embrace but cannot experience your love

I listen for your voice but you cannot be heard

I look at your picture but cannot see your face

I close my eyes to image another place

A time of joy I cannot remember

Listen but I cannot understand

A pleasure I cannot provide

I do not understand the reason why

To listen but did not hear your humble cries

I can only look up toward the sky

Because I believe one day I will do better

I will overcome my lack of sensitivity

And listen when I need to hear

I do love you my dear

Communication goes far beyond words

Good communication is often done in silence

Our feelings and emotions will bridge any gap

This I believe will be the first step

A goal and objective for our loving team

The world will witness our blessed theme

A light will shine for other to follow
