To let me know that its a new day

Little bird you sound so cheerful

So full of life so much to say

Are you pondering about us humans

Or considering next doors cat

Do you love your green surroundings

Or do you dream of resting on sand

Are the trees giving you enough vision

Does the landscape hold your plans

Singing and dancing for me each day

Or will you soon be gone from me

As a new adventure whisks you away
