A Boy Waiting For a Heart Transplant.

Their little son is dying,

He lies there still,

So cold , so lifeless,

Climbing up and endless hill.

The doctors say he needs a new heart,

He is on the list ,

But he’s not number one,

Having no health insurance,

Just  ain’t  fun.

The parents need 30 grand for the op,

This is impossible,

For a family surviving on the minimum wage,

How can this kid die at his young age,

The kid gets worse everyday,

His heart gets slower and slower,

The little girl in the corner is wasting away,

And so many people know her.

They don’t want this to happen to Eddy,

The just can’t bare it,

They just aren’t ready,

For  this,

But the heart transplant list is endless.

Where will they get this money,

It’s not fair & it sure isn’t funny,

This is a matter of life or death,

For this kid to  be taken away from them,

They’re not willing to see that happen yet.

Little Eddy’s father is getting restless,

His mother is so stressed & thinking,

How will we get out of this mess,

The last resort is to rob a bank,

Maybe then little Eddy will move up the rank,

So bang bang bang and give me the money,

I’m gonna shoot your ass if you don’t hand it over,

Honey.

Thank god for that day,

All the pain went away,

The op was done & the heart was replaced,

All the badness & hurt was all erased.

Little Eddy  lived to tell his tale,

This is me,

This is me,

It’s Eddy, I’m no longer frail.
